We had a blast at our Celebration this morning! Thank you so much for those of you that came and I know that if you couldn't be here with us you were sending us good vibes! The kiddos were so proud of themselves and it was truly a wonderful morning.

Which led into a beautiful afternoon where we got to meet and see live demonstrations put on by the K-9 officers and their dogs! With your help we raised close to $400 dollars to go towards a vest for a new K-9 dog!

Be sure to check out your child's SEESAW page as well for more pictures and videos from today!

Hi Everyone!
Our first grade charity runs throughout March and it is to collect money for the Columbia Police Department’s K-9 Unit.  We want to raise money to put towards a new bullet proof vest for one of the police dogs.
The Police officers and dogs will be coming to Bookman the following day to collect our donations.  Thank you in advance for donating any of your loose change.  If anyone would like to make a donation in the form of a check, please make it out to
Vest'N P.D.P. and write in the memo portion of the check Columbia Police K-9 (South Carolina).

On Friday, February 2, 2018 we will observe the 100th day of school. We are so thankful for an abundance of parental involvement and community partnerships, so on this day we are hoping to get 100 “BookMEN” to visit Bookman Road to be involved in some way. BookMEN can be any influential male figures in the lives of our Bookman Road students. Your visit may include eating lunch with your student, reading a book to the class, joining your student during recess, or simply dropping off or picking up your child from school.
Thank you so much for continuing to help us make Bookman Road a great place to be and we look forward to seeing you February 2nd!
